Back in the late 90's there was an internet dotcom mogul named Josh Harris,perhaps you have already heard of him,he was the one who staged the 3 or 4 weeks live within his apartment surrounded by cameras recording his every move and all that happened within. Through a series of bad investment Harris's fortune of 40 million had dwindled down to approx. 3 million. So,there was one project that can't remember the name of but one comes to mind called "Pseudo.com",if the site is still up,who knows but I don't anything else about the man until I ran across a posted link in a Blog posting on Myspace.com. Thus it brought me to http://operator11.com. The day was May 13, 2007 and so I joined up. With O11 as we Netjockies called it we could host and run our own public TV stations as it were with participant and all. We could upload video from various websites and use any cams we prefered,basically we had our own TV shows. As time passed and need for bandwidth became greater since all shows were archived and anyone could go back to watch reruns. So time passed and there became a lot of bugs,no archiving ,being locked out of your own show channel,no uploading,failing browsers,etc.,etc. The great thing about O11 is and was is that it was all done in real time all across the world. O11 is still in the alpha stage and Josh Harris is nowhere to be found,someone else is running O11 and attempting to fix it from what I hear. Given time and if it doesn't go down the tubes O11 will be a new wonderful web 2.0 application.. If Operator11 can make it to the Beta stage and have continued support from the players with a fully functional site, I can't wait till the final development.
